A prophecy concerning Great Britain given by the late Lance Lambert

On August 6th 2011, Lance Lambert shared the following prophecy:

Hear the voice of the Lord, O Isles that I have so greatly loved and favoured. I, the Lord Almighty, took you when you were nothing, clothed with skins and woad, and through my saving power, I made you great.
When you were nothing, through my word and your faith in me, I lifted you and made you Great Britain. Through many awakenings and revivals, stage by stage, I took you until you became a great power with the greatest empire in the history of the nations.

From you, my gospel and my word went throughout the world, and tens of thousands came into an experience of saving faith. That empire, with all its many failings and weaknesses, was still one of the most just and righteous empires of history.

Those isles of yours were soaked with the blood of my faithful martyrs and its soil received the burnt ashes of those who would not renounce my name, my truth, and my word. I, the Lord, have not forgotten those who gave their all for me.

But now the whole nation that I created and sustained has turned from me. They paganise their land, state and institutions; there is no voice heard to warn the nation. False religion, the work of world rulers of darkness, cover your isles; a Laodicean church, neither hot nor cold, rumbles on like machinery. It is a church where I am outside of its routine, its organisation and its methodology. It is Christianity without me; religion without me!

My being is seared with pain, for judgment is determined against your land. I can do no other. I will destroy the vestiges of her greatness; I will return her to her first estate. I will wreck her economy, destabilise her in every way. I will change her climate, even her weather. I will prove to her that the way of the transgressor is hard and terrible. I will allow demonic forces, held in check erstwhile by my word and gospel, and the living faith of so many, to become rampant in her social life, to the destruction of her society.

Will you who know me and love me go blind, deaf and dumb into this judgment? It is time for you who love me, who are faithful to me, to take action. Stand before me and plead the finished work of my Son. At least cry out to me, that there will be those who turn from darkness, from sin, to be saved. For whosoever shall call upon my name in the midst of these judgments, I will save!

It will cost you everything to stand in the gap, but you will enter into my heart and know deep fellowship with me. Such travail conceived in your heart by my Spirit will cost you deeply, but it will end in my throne and glory.”

Of Jewish ancestry (his father and many members of his family died in the Holocaust), Lance Lambert grew up in Britain, later becoming an Israeli citizen and long-time friend of many of its leaders. An inspirational orator, he had a unique insight into the future. He died in Jerusalem in 2015, aged 84.

The Psalm 83 war and ISIS. The Terrorist Question.

There is already a great deal of speculation about the Psalm 83 war. Until now, it has been assumed that the nations involved would be commanded by their official governments. Recently,  we have seen many of these governments destabilised. In most, if not all, of the countries surrounding Israel there are significant terrorist presences..

Psalm 83 describes an alliance of Nations conspiring against Israel which has never taken place. However, prophetic scholar Bill Salus, has observed  that the Psalm could be seen as a prophetic. In short, it describes a war that has yet to happen.

I have begun to wonder whether the Psalm describes an alliance of terrorist groups within the listed nations. The war would not require the approval of official governments. All it would need is sufficient terrorist support backed by military units sympathetic to their cause acting in alliance with a central command.

I.S.I.S could be such a suitable command. In recent days, it has begun to describe itself as, 'The Islamic State'. If sufficient people rally to its cause,  then I.S.I.S could cause a great deal of trouble before its eventual defeat.

To put it more simply, will Psalm 83 be a war of terrorist conspiracy against Israel and not a war of national governments?

If I am right, then we could see the Psalm 83 war within months, rather than years, and possibly, within weeks.

I do not claim a revelatory, prophetic insight. It is simply a question that came to me whilst I was considering the prophetic significance of recent developments in the Middle East.

If I.S.I.S are defeated before provoking the Psalm 83 war, my question still holds good as another terrorist centre of command could, and probably will, arise. If I.S.I.S are defeated after provoking the Psalm 83 war, then we can expect to see major changes in the map of the Middle East.

I would not be surprised if it resulted in the rebuilding of the Temple, the extension of Israel's sovereignty and a significant period of peace. This peace will not last.

I would also expect to see a corresponding revival of the Christian church and then an in-gathering of converts to the faith even, and especially even, in the Western Church.
 The nations and peoples of Psalm 83 I have to update this with a link to an article in the Daily Mail. It seems that ISIS have been rebuked, but have they? The Taliban have issued a coded rebuke, but it is also an invitation to consult together. ISIS may not be popular with some Islamists but they are slowly being recognised.

Just look again at the opening of Psalm 83:

O God, do not keep silence;
    do not hold your peace or be still, O God!
For behold, your enemies make an uproar;
    those who hate you have raised their heads.
They lay crafty plans against your people;
    they consult together against your treasured ones.
They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation;
    let the name of Israel be remembered no more!”
For they conspire with one accord;
    against you they make a covenant—

I'm not saying that this is it, I don't have that authority. But it would be a foolish man who ignored these developments.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Exposing the lies - A heart-warming story that has come out of Israel

This video is about how God's prophecies about the Land are being fulfilled in Israeli Agriculture. It is heart-warming and encouraging. It also exposes some of the lies that have been told about Israel and shows the good that is being done for all the region by Israel.

It really is worth watching. It cheered me up no end, as we say in the North of England.

Enjoy!

If my people, who are called by my Name, humble themselves and pray (Part One)

The text, for those who have trouble with a rather individual cursive, reads as follows:

Scandal after Scandal. No institution safe. Not even the Church or the media ( inc. news)

     God will bring his people to  their knees in prayer. He will horrify even those who are a little awake in order that they might pray. He will terrify the sleepers that they might awake , repent and pray.

22.8.92

Thirty-one years (it now being October 2023) ago a Christian in prayer heard from the Holy Spirit. But what to do? Who would listen? Blogs were unheard of.

Nontheless, it has all come horribly true and not just in the UK. The Church was singled out as judgement begins in the House of God.

The media (news), meant the TV news and especially the BBC which was enjoying a partially deserved reputation for accuracy after the Falklands War. It never meant the newspapers.  Who ever believed them?

We have been horrified with 9/11 and 7/7 as well as the aftermath of these events. We have been terrified with a beheading on the streets of London.

But still no prelate, priest, politician or prince calls out for prayer and repentance.

Prophecy, prediction and psychics

One of the subjects that I will be returning to, on occasion, is Biblical prophecy and current events. Before I start blogging on specifics, I want to include a post on definitions - and spelling.This latter, because I used to be a school-teacher and I became very familiar with the common mistakes.

Spelling first.

PropheCy is the noun. It is the thing itself.
PropheSy is the verb. It is the act of making a prophecy.

US visitors, please take note. The above confusion is rather common on US sites

Prophet, a noun. The person making the prophecy.

Phrophet - a spelling mistake.

Profit - a confusion and nothing to do with our subject. See the end of the post for a definition.

Definitions
Prophet.

In the Old Testament/Tenach, a prophet was generally a person of high moral character and devotion to YHWH who, when filled with the Spirit of God, would speak and/or write on behalf of God. What he, or she, said, was held to be as good as God speaking directly to the hearer/reader. Exceptions to the high moral standard of prophets were Balaam, Saul and David. All prophets were human and did, on occasion, sin.

Some prophetic ministries were associated with miracles, such as Moses and Elijah .

In the New Testament, prophecy was more common, all the Apostles were prophets as well as others who dealt solely in the ministry of a prophet. The high moral standard was and is essential.

In many ways, a prophet has the same standing with respect to God as an Ambassador does with respect to the Head of State.

Again, miracles can be associated with the prophetic ministry, but not always.

Prophecy may or may not include prediction, but when it does it is a major test of legitimacy.

The Church, as a whole, has a continuing prophetic role when it obeys God as does Israel in a different way, but also when obedient.

False prophets.

Prophets of false gods, see also psychics. People claiming to be prophets of God usually for status and/or financial gain. Money is nearly always the giveaway. Also the failure of their more significant predictions.

A prophet can be rich independently of his or her ministry but if prophecy becomes the path to riches there is something wrong.

Psychics are a subset of false prophets. They do not always worship any particular god and some will even claim to be Christian or devout Jews. They lay claim to powers that generally mimic the ministry of a prophet or apostle. Again, money is the giveaway. If psychics do have any power it is either that they are exceptionally intelligent and observant, as in the TV series 'The Mentalist', or their abilities come from a source other than God i.e. demonic in nature.

Predictions

Not everyone who makes a prediction is a prophet or psychic. Meteorologists, seismologists, futurologists etc. etc. all make a living from making predictions. It's all perfectly lawful as long as it is done honestly and scientifically. Honest mistakes will happen as aell as foolish and even dishonest ones.

Interpreting prophetic scriptures in the light of current events other wise known as the signs of the times is also lawful. However, different schemes of interpretation do produce different results. This can be very significant in one's attitude to some current events. I will examine this aspect in a future post. (A prediction!!)

Jesus compared prophetic interpretation to weather-forecasting.  This is worth bearing in mind. He expected understanding as the events were closing in on them. The closer the path of a hurricane gets, the easier it is is to predict its future path.

Interpreters can get things wrong. As long as they do not say, 'Thus says the Lord' there is not a problem. A mistaken interpreter is NOT a false prophet. They may or may not be a false teacher.

It is also foolish to set dates where the Church is concerned. I will deal with this aspect in a later post. Setting dates where Israel is concerned is another matter. The Bible is full of examples and in my next post I will look at some of these. In particular, I will examine the "Moses-Ezekiel clock" which is very interesting and explains a great many things for Jews and Christians.
