The oldest complete Torah Scroll

For lovers of books, scrolls and the Word of God, this is interesting. My source for the story was Israel Today. You can also find more detail at The Raw Story. Israel Today explain the significance of the scroll.

I understand this is the Professor (far left), with some of his colleagues, studying the scroll. It is, amongst other things, a further testimony to the accuracy of the copying process used by our forebears. Contrary to the 'Chinese Whispers' myth great care was taken to ensure highly accurate copies. Scrolls such as these help to disprove the myths of unreliability.
